Who I am
Thirteen years of development. I started out building PHP sites, moved into backend services, and over the past few years have taken on ops and deployment too — the kind of role where one person takes a requirement all the way to production.
I am not a fan of making technology sound mystical. Whether the system runs, and how fast a problem gets fixed — those two things matter far more than how pretty the architecture diagram is.
What I actually do
It comes down to three things:
- Backend — APIs, data structures, performance. I have worked on services handling tens of millions of requests, and maintained legacy systems that had been running for seven or eight years.
- Servers — Nginx, certificates, firewalls, backups. I have made enough mistakes to fill a book.
- Frontend — I would rather write the interface myself than wait for a design handoff. This site is hand-written.
How I work
I prefer simple solutions that can be verified over clever ones that cannot. Every deployment should be repeatable, every change reversible. When something breaks, I read logs and trace the chain before guessing.
Right now most of my energy goes into cross-border e-commerce, short-form video, and actually landing AI in real business workflows — not demos.
